Steel Blue Southern Cross Zip Graphtec Safety Work Boots

Steel Blue Work Boots collaborated with fellow West Australian company First Graphene to produce GraphTEC™, a new range of men’s work boots with additional strength and superior durability. 

By adding graphene to the TPU Outsole and Scuff Cap of the popular Southern Cross® Scuff and Southern Cross® Zip Scuff styles, the two companies have created a leading-edge range of ultra-durable work boots.

The Southern Cross® Zip GraphTEC™ is a world first PureGRAPH® Graphene enhanced work boot. Graphene is one of the strongest impermeable semi-metals discovered to date. PureGRAPH® Graphene has been independently tested, with results showing an increase of over 200% in abrasion resistance. Steel Blue’s GraphTEC™ range is designed, developed and made in Australia.

The Southern Cross® Zip GraphTEC™ is a Men’s 150mm ankle height, Zip sided work boot that includes a GraphTEC™ enhanced Scuff Cap and Outsole. The addition of Graphene in the durable TPU Outsole and Scuff Cap provides world leading durability, abrasion resistance and strength. Tests show that Graphene is one million times thinner than a piece of paper, superior in strength to diamonds and 200 times stronger than steel.

Crafted from premium Water Resistant Leather, the Southern Cross® Zip GraphTEC™ is a popular 100% comfortable choice for Construction, Mining and Civil Engineering. This Australian Made safety boot also features a TPU Outsole that is heat resistant to 130°C and includes Anti-Static properties, a 200 joule safety Steel Toe Cap for ultimate toe protection and the padded collar and tongue offer all day comfort.
